The cat is not too bad for someone who "can’t draw". This is the first time I’ve drawn a cat "from scratch".

Today’s Gratitude Item: That my lecturer is prepared to revisit my 3rd Stats assignment. I was disappointed with my grade and whilst some of the errors were mine, it seemed that the marking schedule was rather harsh in places. Regardless of the outcome, I did learn from my mistakes *hopefully*. The experience has also been a good reminder of how my students must feel on a regular basis.
I wouldn’t say you “can’t draw”. I have lots of experience with cats, and know their behavior. You captured the here’s my I don’t give a **** about you, but really do care, and don’t want you to know it look. Independent, aloof, yet sweet. The eyes say it all.
Thanks for your kind words 🙂
I put the “can’t draw” in inverted comments because as a child I was pretty hopeless at drawing. I’m still not very confident and most of the time, I trace off reference photos to create my “clip art”. The cat was an exception. I drew it “from scratch” without referring to any pictures, which is why I was rather pleased with it 🙂
