Today’s Gratitude Item: That my dad is much stronger after his surgery – they even let him eat ice cream this afternoon which, after more than a week on nothing / clear liquids is a definite sign of progress. Having a loved one in hospital is never fun and I’m really grateful for the outstanding care that dad has received.
