Today’s Gratitude Item: The fact that typing in error messages into google invariable leads to a solution. My K1 Ideapad decided to automatically update itself with the latest “829” update but in the process things got a bit scrambled. Every time I tried to do anything, I got this error about a certain application that failed and the on-screen keyboard appeared to be MIA. After deleting the offending application, the problem was solved. Its a real pity that Lenovo released this update before it was, in my opinion, completely ready. A quick glance at the preceding link will show that I’m not the only one to experience big problems with it.
