This one proved to be a bit of a challenge to produce. Creating the background was easy, combining it with the original fractal – not so much.

Today’s Gratitude Item: Successfully recreating ‘my’ database (as in the one that got corrupted yesterday). It did not take nearly as long as feared and did not crash once – so the ‘split database’ solution seems to be working. Now I need to figure out how to teach my students to do something similar (but simpler).
