Today’s Gratitude Item: The fig tree outside has a lot more baby figs than expected. I’m not holding out much hope that said figs will be fit for human consumption but for some reason I get a lot of pleasure from watching them grow. In previous years we’ve left them for the birds who seem OK with the non-existent taste.
