Weirdly, this looks like part of something much bigger.

Today’s Gratitude Item: My car-pool buddy who was with me when we got side-swiped on the motorway. Whilst being side-swiped is no fun, we were not hurt and my buddy had the presence of mind to get photos of the car that did the side-swiping. It’s frustrating when one is basically sitting in traffic in one’s lane and someone else (who does not speak any English) drives into you. The car is still drive-able and the hope is that the damage will be easily fixed. On the plus side, this time around, I have comprehensive insurance which is a very different experience to a ‘third party fire / theft claim.
