This photo is of one of the "party chimps" at Auckland zoo. Said chimp is very old and despite the photo, he seems reasonably happy. The chimp was surrounded by adoring children and appeared to be enjoying the attention. Happily, he is the last of a generation and the "new" chimps are much more "wild".

Today’s Gratitude Item: My massive pile of filing only took about 20 minutes to “disappear”. Embarrassingly there was about six months worth of “stuff” waiting to be filed. I’m usually more organised than this. Thing is, small bits of personal filing take almost as long as larger bits – that’s my story and I’m sticking to it.
